Deron Freeman's journey into the legal world began with a solid foundation laid at the Western New England School of Law, from where he graduated in 2000. Born into a family deeply entrenched in the legal profession, Deron Freeman was the second oldest of Donald and the late Bertha Freeman's four children. His path was almost preordained, with three of the Freeman siblings pursuing law and one, Nikia, becoming a psychologist.



Growing up in the Freeman household was unique, especially with Donald Freeman, the patriarch, instilling a sense of justice and fairness early on. The children's disputes were settled in a manner reminiscent of Judge Judy, with Donald acting as the arbitrator. The real turning point in Deron’s career came after he left his father's practice. This bold move, initially daunting, proved to be a blessing in disguise. “It was actually the best thing that ever happened to me… I doubled my salary,” Freeman reflects. Today, he is at the helm of his own law firm, a bustling enterprise serving approximately 1,200 clients. The firm boasts three associate lawyers, 11 para professionals, and one administrative assistant, handling a myriad of cases from criminal and civil to personal injury matters.

Life as an attorney, especially at the head of a busy firm, is not for the faint-hearted. Deron Freeman, a divorced father of six, starts his day at 6 a.m. and is not asleep until midnight.
